It's been a while

It's been a good few months since i last blogged (shame on me). However, now that i have settled into my new home i have decided to treat you all with a daily post. These will be reviews, best and worst products, monthly faves, maybe a few fashion posts and hauls.

So, as of right now i pledge to you to be a good blogger and post daily when i can.

See you soon,

A dying trend...

I have been trying to get red hair dye out of my hair for a few months now and in doing so has really dried my locks out and only made my hair colour patchy and dull.  I decided to dye my hair red last November because I got bored of being naturally blonde. And then I missed being blonde and so I decided to go back. First of all I knew I needed to get the red out before I even thought about putting blonde dye straight on top.

In the last few months I tried all sorts of methods from using head and shoulders (this faded the colour just a little bit) to putting washing up liquid on, because a friend told me it’s better than anything (they were right but my hair became dry and frizzy).

My last point of call was trying the Sheer Blonde colour renew range by John Freda. This is exactly what I needed. Not only has it helped fade the red and bring out my natural hair colour (The formula contains an optical brightener and lavender to extend the salon-fresh look of your blonde by neutralising brassiness. Contains UV filters to help protect your hair from sun damage.) It also has restored my locks and they are back to being soft and shiny. I’ve also been using the sheer
Blonde Hair Repair Intensive Conditioning Treatment twice a week and Aussie; take the heat 3 minute miracle, 3 times a week.   I have been using these products religiously for nearly 3 weeks and here are the results....

I would recommend these products for anyone wanting to go back to their natural hair colour without destroying their hair in the process.
